How home and work addresses help MileTracker classify smarter

Setting your home and work addresses in MileTracker makes trip classification dramatically faster. Here's why and how.

MileTracker lets you save your home and work addresses in Settings. Once you do, the app can pre-classify trips and skip your daily commute entirely if it's not deductible.

How to set them

  1. Open MileTracker.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap 'Home address' and enter or pin yours.
  4. Tap 'Work address' and do the same.

What it changes

Trips between home and work get a default 'commute' tag. Trips that start or end at unknown addresses always require a tap.

MileTracker detects every drive in the background, lets you classify business or personal in one tap, and exports an IRS-ready PDF and CSV at tax time. Download MileTracker free on the App Store.
